Our client a city based International Investment bank seek candidate with a strong proven background in Proxy Voting You should be degree (or equivalent) educated, and Securities Institute Affiliate Status Attained .
Responsiilties will include:
Ensuring overall understanding and control of a Corporate Action, monitoring all ï¿1/2??triggerï¿1/2?? dates to ensure completion of task
Managing a process driven Lifecycle, without ï¿1/2??activeï¿1/2?? participation, through a range of task management, ï¿1/2??lineï¿1/2?? liaison and prioritisation of upcoming events.
To actively capture, via OPAL, and address ï¿1/2??Root Causeï¿1/2?? of ï¿1/2??lineï¿1/2?? driven queries, and deliver findings to allow structured training, where required
Ensuring that all complex issues requiring ï¿1/2??Process Improvementï¿1/2??, be delivered to the S.M.E. (Subject Matter Expert) Risk team for further analysis and delivery, and be available for support and knowledge transfer where required.
Ensuring full ï¿1/2??Marketï¿1/2?? expertise for selected markets, in order to capture potential issues in the processing and/or participation in a Corporate Action.
Ensuring S.L.D requirement around query response times is met with 100% run rate, with necessary escalation of items falling out as exception.
Collation and completion of monthly Event Management scorecard, by region and/or market (seasonality) to ensure full capture of market nuances, Hot Stock, and Root Causes from an exception management focus.
Ensuring support and protection form the Corporate Action Line areaï¿1/2??s, covering training requirements, ADHOC Event control, and problem solving
Collating and presenting on a daily basis, prioritisation for Post Event Break clearance, and ownership of justification around methodology. Ensure professionalism in all communication channels, in a clear and concise manner.
